About I´m Mikael Jepson and I am probably most known for being the guitarist in one of Swedens’ biggest bands ”THE ARK”. I have been collecting designed furniture and textiles from the 60´s and 70´s for many years, especially textiles that appealed to me more like pieces of art than just fabrics, thus formulating my own hangings from the materials collected. With this as inspiration, I decided to design and make my own textile art which should have as much of an authentic feeling as possible. To produce this feeling I have had the fabric handprinted at Ljungbergstextil in Sweden. This is my first project, which I have called ”Textile Art For The Wall” and hopefully in the near future I shall design more pieces that will be shown here on my website.
